FAM® maintenance-free bushings manufactured from manganese
steel have exceptional abrasive wear resistance, and shock resistance
thanks to mechanical work-hardening of the contact area. Fam bushings
require initial greasing of the first assembly only.

The contact area has an initial hard surface layer, which is restored
under mechanical stresses and can be plain or cross-hatched.
Cross-hatching provides excellent distribution of the grease and
enables the removal of abrasive contaminants from the contact area.

FAM® maintenance-free bushings are highly resistant to shocks
and high pressures.

For optimal performance of the joints, special shafts are available
from HEF USA: FAM ST, FAM HT, FAM OX.
