Liquid Nitriding (ferritic nitrocarburizing) is a precise thermochemical diffusion treatment for hardening ferrous components that require resistance to friction, wear and corrosion. This technology is especially known for its dimensional stability and repeatability.
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology allows the deposition of a thin film of virtually any metal, metal alloy, polymer or composite, onto practically any surface. Substrates that are compatible with this technology include ferrous metals, copper, titanium and aluminum alloys, silicon, polymers, glass, composites, carbides and ceramics.
Bushings engineered by H.E.F. have properties and performance specifications designed to significantly increase maintenance intervals in high-load, low-rotation applications. We offer eight patented bushing designs, in a broad range of sizes, including carburized and ground bushings.
Specialty Processes offered by H.E.F. USA cover a broad range of highly-adaptable surface technologies, which improve service life and appearance, enhance metal-to-metal-compatibility and achieve specific metallurgical objectives.
